  1. I missed you, but also know God has a perfect plan. It takes valleys to make mountains–otherwise it would all be plateaus. I’m right beside you trying to find the balance between ministry and family. Love ya.

    • Thanks, Paula. It was amazing how when I stopped trying to create ministry, it literally fell right into my lap. Not just family – but all kinds of opportunities that I would have missed if I were so caught on my own mission and vision. The works that God created for me in advance are not something I have to go chase down. As I stay connected to God, He reveals the works plainly. …. And they are WAY more satisfying than anything I could ever create.

      Such a beautiful realization.

      Happy New Year!

  2. Seriously you are amazing. I love how unedited and raw and honest you are. I always have this weird feeling that God takes us both on similar journeys because whenever you write it’s as if I’m reading my own thoughts. So thank you for continually inspiring me and thank you for the fact that I know that someone else is going through the same type of journey.. so I’m not alone. Very powerful message 🙂

    • Thank you for your comment, Christina. Isn’t that so neat how God ties our souls together at times?

You are not alone, my friend. The most comforting words a coworker said to me during the past 3 months was, “April. We’re all crazy. Some of us just hide it better than others.” LOL! It made me laugh but it’s just so darn true. … and it’s okay. We’re in process. The process is what makes life so beautiful.

  3. Thank you for your rawness. Thank you for sharing your journey. Thank you for being obedient. I just started mine and it feels like freedom. I can ditto some of the things you’ve said here. It’s beautiful. And I want to minister to my two guys more than anyone else’s. Jesus, make me that momma, that woman. I’m here.

    Love you, friend.

    • Sweet Julie. I’m glad you could relate. God is grabbing the attention of His daughters. I believe He wants to use us – He just never asked us to TRY HARDER to be used. He’s only ever wanted our hearts first.

      Love you too!

  4. I love you just the way you are. I love reading what you write because it reminds me I am not alone and how much alike we really are. I would really like to get together to just be ourselves.
